The Monarch Writers

are a St. Louis based writing group, founded in September 2017 by Cypress Butane, for writers who take their writing seriously and want to move their projects forward from conception to completion.
We try to provide a space for those working on fiction, non-fiction, and poetry, in any style. Short story crafters, novelists, flash fiction devotees, and essayists are all welcome.
The Monarch Writers currently meet each Monday in person at the Bread Company (Panera Bread) at 6607 Chippewa, St. Louis 63109. From 5:30pm Till Around 8 or around 9, when they close.
